From the sprawling studios of Los Angeles to the decentralized universe of Web3, Quentin Saubadu's journey as a designer is as multifaceted as it is captivating. Today, as we stand on the cusp of another transformative phase at Ryder, we are thrilled to share the story of Quentin, Ryder’s UI/UX lead and his unparalleled expertise in UI/UX design.

Quentin's foray into the world of design started on a high note, having graduated with honors from not one, but two design programs. His initial design journey with the world of fashion saw him jet-setting to Los Angeles, where he dipped his toes into swimwear design, creating for behemoths like Quicksilver and Volcom. Over the years, he expanded his design skilss, crafting visual identities across an array of industries — be it vibrant restaurants, pulsating festivals, cozy bars, or dynamic brands. This culminated in a pivotal role with an accessories brand, where he not only shaped their collection but also steered their e-shop from inception to a booming €30k in its inaugural year.

It was in 2019 that Quentin embarked on a transformative journey that would align him closer to Ryder's mission. Co-founding Sigle with Léo Pradel, Quentin delved deep into the decentralized universe, launching an open-source blogging platform that has since garnered significant traction. Their innovative approach didn’t go unnoticed. In 2021, they raised an impressive $500k via a digital collectible sale, underscoring the platform's potential and Quentin’s knack for blending design with emerging technologies.

With a rich tapestry of experiences, Quentin is now setting his sights on the world of Web3 hardware wallets. At Ryder, he's geared to craft an unparalleled user experience that marries intuitive design with robust security.
